Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 7452

حدثنا أبو بكر أحمد بن ....... (4) يزيد بن هارون، أخبرنا محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله ﷺ قال: "قال الله ﷿: أنا الرحمنُ، وهي الرَّحِم، فمَن وَصَلَها وصلتُه، ومن قَطَعَها قطعتُه" (5).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد رُوِيَ بأسانيد واضحة عن عبد الرحمن بن عَوف وسعيد بن زيد بن عمرو ابن نُفيل وعائشة وعبد الله (1) بن عمرو (2). أما حديثُ سعيد بن زيد:

هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد رُوِيَ بأسانيد واضحة عن عبد الرحمن بن عَوف وسعيد بن زيد بن عمرو ابن نُفيل وعائشة وعبد الله (1) بن عمرو (2). أما حديثُ سعيد بن زيد:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, said: I am al-Rahman (the Most Merciful), and this is al-rahim (the tie of kinship). So whoever joins it, I will join him (with My mercy), and whoever severs it, I will cut him off (from My mercy)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it. It has also been narrated with clear chains from Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf, Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd, Sayyidah Aishah and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it. It has also been narrated with clear chains from Sayyiduna Abd al-Rahman bin Awf, Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd, Sayyidah Aishah and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them).

(4) سقطت هنا في النسخ الخطية الواسطة بين أبي بكر أحمد ويزيد بن هارون، ويغلب على ظننا أنه أبو بكر أحمد بن سلمان الفقيه عن الحسن بن مكرم عن يزيد بن هارون، فقد تكررت هذه السلسلة عند المصنف أكثر من عشر مرات، والله تعالى أعلم، وعلى كلٍّ فمَن دون يزيد بن هارون قد توبع.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the manuscripts the intermediary between Abu Bakr Ahmad and Yazid bin Harun has dropped out here. Our strong assumption is that it is "Abu Bakr Ahmad bin Salman al-Faqih, from al-Hasan bin Mukram, from Yazid bin Harun", since this chain is repeated with the author (al-Hakim) more than ten times. And Allah knows best.
Important point: In any case, those below Yazid bin Harun have been corroborated.
(5) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل محمد بن عمرو: وهو ابن علقمة الليثي
Grading: This hadith is sahih, and this chain is hasan because of Muhammad bin 'Amr - who is Ibn 'Alqamah al-Laythi.
وأخرجه أحمد 16/ (10469) عن يزيد بن هارون بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (16/ 10469) recorded it from Yazid bin Harun, with this chain.
وسلف بأطول ممّا هنا برقم (3042)، وانظر (7473).
