ما حدّثني أبو القاسم الحسن بن محمد بن السَّكُوني بالكوفة، حدثنا عبد الله بن غَنّام، حدثني أبي، حدثنا أبو أحمد الزُّبيري، حدثنا مِسعَر بن كِدام، عن أبي عُتبة، عن عائشة قالت: قلت: يا رسولَ الله، أيُّ الناسِ أعظمُ حقًّا [على المرأة؟ قال: "زوجُها"، قلت: فأيُّ الناس أعظم حقًّا] (2) على الرَّجل؟ قال: "أُمُّه" (3). ومنها:
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she said: O Messenger of Allah! Who has the greatest right over a woman? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Her husband." I said: Then who has the greatest right over a man? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "His mother."

(2) ما بين المعقوفين لم يرد في نسخنا الخطية، وأثبتناه من "تلخيص الذهبي"، ومن الرواية الآتية برقم (7525).
Note / Clarification: The text between the square brackets was not in our manuscripts; we established it from al-Dhahabi's "al-Talkhis" and from the narration to come under number (7525).
(3) إسناده ضعيف لجهالة أبي عتبة، قال أبو حاتم الرازي: لا يُدرى من هو ولا يُعرف، وغنام بن حفص والد عبد الله لم نعرف حاله. أبو أحمد الزبيري: هو محمد بن عبد الله بن الزبير.
Grading: Its chain is weak because of the jahalah (unknown status) of Abu 'Utbah. Imam Abu Hatim al-Razi said: It is not known who he is, nor is he recognised.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Likewise, we could not learn the status of Ghannam bin Hafs (the father of 'Abdullah). "Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri" in the chain is "Muhammad bin 'Abdullah bin al-Zubayr".
وأخرجه أحمد بن منيع في "مسنده" كما في "إتحاف الخيرة" للبوصيري (3205/ 1)، والبزار (1462 - كشف الأستار)، والنسائي (9103) من طريق أبي أحمد الزبيري، بهذا الإسناد. وقد خالف أبا أحمد الزبيري معاويةُ بن هشام، فرواه عن مسعر عن أبي عتبة عن رجل عن عائشة، فيما ذكره المزي في "التهذيب" 34/ 66، فزاد رجلًا بين أبي عتبة وعائشة.
Reference / Source: Ahmad bin Mani' recorded it in his "Musnad", as in al-Busiri's "Ithaf al-Khiyarah" (3205/ 1), and al-Bazzar (1462 - Kashf al-Astar) and al-Nasa'i (9103), by way of Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri, with this chain.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Mu'awiyah bin Hisham contradicted Abu Ahmad al-Zubayri (in the chain): he narrated it from Mis'ar, from Abu 'Utbah, from "a man", from 'A'ishah (as al-Mizzi mentioned in "al-Tahdhib" 34/ 66), so he added a man between Abu 'Utbah and 'A'ishah.
