أخبرنا أبو علي الحسين بن علي الحافظ، أخبرنا علي بن العباس البَجَلي بالكوفة، حدّثنا أبو موسى محمد بن المثنَّى، حدّثنا أبو عاصم الضحاك بن مَخَلد، حدّثنا سفيان، حدَّثني عبد الله بن أبي بكر بن محمد بن عمرو بن حَزْم، عن سعيد بن المسيّب، عن أبي سعيد الخُدْري قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "ألا أدلُّكم على ما يُكفَّر الله به الخطايا ويزيد في الحَسَنات؟ " قالوا: بلى يا رسول الله، قال: "إسباغُ الوضوء في المَكارِه، وانتظارُ الصلاة بعد الصلاة، ما منكم من رجل يخرُج من بيته فيصلي مع الإمام، ثم يجلِسُ ينتظرُ الصلاةَ الأُخرى، إلّا والملائكةُ تقول: اللهمَّ اغْفِرْ له، اللهم ارحَمْه" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه، وهو غريب من حديث الثَّوري، فإني سمعت أبا عليٍّ الحافظ يقول: تفرَّد به أبو عاصم النَّبيل عن الثَّوري.

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you of that by which Allah Almighty wipes out sins and increases good deeds?" The Companions said: "Of course, O Messenger of Allah (please tell us)." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Performing ablution (wudu) thoroughly despite hardship and dislike, and waiting for the next prayer after a prayer. There is no man among you who leaves his house, prays with the imam, and then sits waiting for the next prayer, except that the angels pray for him: 'O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him.'"
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but they did not record it. This narration is gharib (unusual) from Sufyan al-Thawri, and only Abu Asim al-Nabil transmitted it from him.

وأخرجه أحمد 17/ (10994)، وابن ماجه (427) من طريق عبد الله بن محمد بن عقيل، عن سعيد بن المسيب، به. طوّله أحمد واختصره ابن ماجه.
