حدَّثَناه علي بن عيسى، حَدَّثَنَا إبراهيم بن أبي طالب، حَدَّثَنَا ابن أبي عمر، حَدَّثَنَا سفيان، عن ابن أبي نَجِيح، عن مجاهد، عن رجل من ثَقِيف، عن أبيه قال: رأيت النَّبِيّ ﷺ بالَ ثم نَضَحَ فَرْجَه (2).
A man from the tribe of Thaqif narrates from his father: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he (peace and blessings be upon him) urinated and then sprinkled water on (the area of) his private part.

(2) ضعيف كسابقه. سفيان: هو ابن عيينة، وابن أبي نجيح: هو عبد الله.
Grading: This too is weak, like the previous narration.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Sufyan is Sufyan bin Uyaynah, and Ibn Abi Najih is Abd Allah bin Abi Najih.
وأخرجه أبو داود (167) عن إسحاق بن إسماعيل، عن سفيان، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (167) recorded it from Ishaq bin Isma'il, from Sufyan bin Uyaynah, with this chain.
Grading: This too is weak, like the previous narration.
