It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There is no servant who worships Allah without associating anything with Him, establishes the prayer, pays the zakah and avoids the major sins, except that he will certainly enter Paradise." The narrator says: The people asked him (peace and blessings be upon him): "What are the major sins?" He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Associating partners with Allah, fleeing from the ranks of the enemy (on the battlefield of jihad), and killing a soul (unjustly)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim); I know of no hidden defect ('illah) in it, but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): (2) In the printed edition it is distorted to "Sulayman". Manuscript (Z) has "Abd Allah bin Salman". Abd Allah and Ubayd Allah are brothers; both narrated from their father, but Ubayd Allah is the more "thiqah" of the two.
Grading: (1) The hadith is "sahih", and this chain is "hasan" as a corroboration or supporting report. Fudayl bin Sulayman is not very strong, but he is acceptable in corroborations, and here he has been corroborated. The remaining narrators are thiqah. (2932). Grading: Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar graded it "sahih" in "al-Matalib al-Aliyah" (2932). Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (3247) narrated it from Abu Ya'la, and Ibn Mandah (478) by way of Yusuf bin Ya'qub, both from Muhammad bin Abi Bakr, with this chain. Ibn Hibban did not mention the question about the major sins, and his version has "Abd Allah bin Salman". Reference / Source: Al-Tabari (5/ 43) narrated it by way of Ibn Abi al-Zinad, and Ibn Asakir (22/ 177) by way of Hawra' bint Musa bin Uqbah, both from Musa bin Uqbah. The route of Ibn Abi al-Zinad is the better one, despite the criticism of him. Reference / Source: Ahmad (38/ 23502, 23506) and al-Nasa'i (3458, 8601, 11034) narrated it by way of Baqiyyah bin al-Walid, from Bahir bin Sa'd, from Khalid bin Ma'dan, from Abu Ruhm al-Sama'i, from Abu Ayyub. Grading: This chain is "hasan" as a corroboration because of Baqiyyah bin al-Walid.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): (2) Al-Dhahabi says: Ubayd Allah from his father Salman al-Agharr was recorded by al-Bukhari only. We say: if it is the other brother (Abd Allah), then he was recorded by Muslim only.
