أخبرنا أبو أحمد بكر بن محمد الصَّيرَفي بمَرْو، حدثنا أحمد بن عبيد الله النَّرْسي، حدثنا أبو نُعيم، حدثنا زكريا بن أبي زائدة، عن مصعب (1) بن شَيْبة، عن طَلْق بن حبيب، عن عبد الله بن الزُّبير، عن عائشة، أنها حدَّثته أنَّ النبي ﷺ، قال: "يُغتَسل من أربعٍ: من الجَنابة، ويوم الجُمُعة، ومن غَسْل الميت، والحِجَامة" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه. حدثنا الحاكم أبو عبد الله محمد بن عبد الله الحافظ إملاءً في شهر ربيع الأول سنة أربعٍ وتسعين وثلاث مئة:

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The ritual bath (ghusl) is performed for four things: for janabah (major ritual impurity), on the day of Jumu'ah, on account of washing a deceased person, and on account of cupping (hijamah)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(1) وقع في الأصول: "زكريا بن أبي زائدة ومصعب" وهو خطأ صوّبناه من "السنن الكبرى" للبيهقي 1/ 299 حيث رواه عن المصنف بإسناده ومتنه، وقد رواه غير واحد من طريق زكريا عن مصعب بن شيبة.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The original manuscripts have "Zakariyya bin Abi Za'idah and Mus'ab", which is wrong; we corrected it with the help of al-Bayhaqi (1/299) to "Zakariyya from Mus'ab bin Shaybah".
(2) إسناده ضعيف لضعف مصعب بن شيبة، وقد عدَّ الذهبي هذا الحديث في "الميزان" من مناكير مصعب.
Grading: This chain is weak because of the weakness of Mus'ab bin Shaybah.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Imam al-Dhahabi counted this narration among Mus'ab's munkar narrations in "Mizan al-I'tidal".
وأخرجه أبو داود (348) و (3160) من طريق محمد بن بشر، عن زكريا بن أبي زائدة، بهذا الإسناد. وضعَّفه أبو داود في الموضع الثاني.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud narrated it (348, 3160) via the chain of Muhammad bin Bishr from Zakariyya bin Abi Za'idah.
Grading: Imam Abu Dawud declared it weak in the second place.
وأخرجه أحمد 42/ (25190) من طريق عبد الله بن أبي السفر، عن مصعب بن شيبة، به.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it (42/25190) via the chain of 'Abd Allah bin Abi al-Safar from Mus'ab bin Shaybah.
