سَيَكُونُ فِي هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ قَوْمٌ يَعْتَدُونَ فِي الطَّهُورِ وَالدُّعَاءِ .

حدثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق الفقيه، حدثنا أحمد بن إبراهيم بن مِلْحان، حدثنا يحيى بن بُكَير، حدثني الليث، عن حَيْوة بن شُرَيح، عن عُقبة بن مُسلِم، عن عبد الله بن الحارث بن جَزْءٍ الزُّبَيدي، أنه سمع النبي ﷺ يقول: "وَيلٌ للأعقاب وبطونِ الأقدام من النار" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح، ولم يُخرجا ذكرَ بطونِ الأقدام (2).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Harith bin Jaz' al-Zubaydi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Woe (a threat of ruin) from the Fire for the heels and the soles of the feet!"
This hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record the mention of the soles of the feet in it.

Grading: Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه أحمد 29/ (17710) من طريق عبد الله بن لَهِيعة، عن حيوة بن شريح، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it (29/17710) through 'Abd Allah bin Lahi'ah, from Haywah bin Shurayh, with this same chain.
(2) أخرجاه دون ذكر بطون الأقدام من حديث عبد الله بن عمرو عند البخاري (60) ومسلم (241)، ومن حديث أبي هريرة عند البخاري (165) ومسلم (242).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Al-Bukhari (60) and Muslim (241) narrated it from 'Abd Allah bin 'Amr, and al-Bukhari (165) and Muslim (242) from Abu Hurayrah, but "the soles of the feet" are not mentioned in them.
