حدَّثناه أبو بكر بن إسحاق الفقيه، أخبرنا إسماعيل بن قُتيبة، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى قال: قرأتُ على شَرِيك. وحدثنا علي بن عيسى، حدثنا أحمد بن نَجْدة، حدثنا سعيد بن منصور، حدثنا شَرِيك، عن أبي إسحاق، عن الأسود، عن عائشة: أنَّ النبيَّ ﷺ كان لا يتوضَّأُ بعد الغُسْل (2). وله شاهد صحيح عن ابن عمر:
It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) would not perform ablution after the ritual bath (ghusl).

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن، شريك - وهو ابن عبد الله النخعي - متكلَّم في حفظه وهو حسن الحديث إلّا إذا خالف أو أتى بما ينكر، وقد توبع.
Grading: This hadith is sahih and its chain is hasan.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The memory of the narrator in the chain, "Sharik bin 'Abd Allah al-Nakha'i", has been criticised; he is "hasan al-hadith" provided he does not contradict (trustworthy narrators) or bring a munkar narration, and here he is corroborated (mutaba'ah).
وأخرجه أحمد 40/ (24389) و 42/ (25595) و 43/ (26213)، وابن ماجه (579)، والترمذي (107)، والنسائي (245) من طرق عن شريك، بهذا الإسناد. وقال الترمذي: حديث حسن صحيح.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (40/ 24389, 42/ 25595, 43/ 26213), Ibn Majah (579), al-Tirmidhi (107) and al-Nasa'i (245) narrated it through various routes from Sharik bin 'Abd Allah, with this same chain.
Grading: Imam al-Tirmidhi declared it "hasan sahih".
وأخرجه أحمد 43/ (26157)، والنسائي (245) من طريق حسن بن صالح بن حي، عن أبي إسحاق، به. وانظر ما قبله.
