حدَّثنا أبو حفص أحمد بن أَحْيَد الفقيه ببُخارَى، حدَّثنا صالح بن محمد بن حبيب الحافظ، حدَّثنا هارون بن سعيد الأيْلي، حدَّثنا عبد الله بن وَهْب، أخبرني عمرو بن الحارث، عن درَّاج أبي السَّمْح، عن أبي الهيثم، عن أبي سعيد الخُدْري: ﴿وَيْلٌ لِكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُمَزَةٍ﴾، قال: الويلُ: وادٍ في جهنَّم يَهْوي فيه الكافرُ أربعين خريفًا قبل أن يُفرَغ من حِساب الناس (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the words of Allah Almighty: "Woe to every slanderer and backbiter" [Surah al-Humazah: 1], that he said: "Wayl (woe) is a valley in Hell into which the disbeliever will keep falling for forty years before the reckoning of the people is finished."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف لضعف رواية درّاج أبي السمح عن أبي الهيثم: وهو سليمان بن عمرو العُتْواري.
Grading: Its chain is da'if due to the weakness of the narration of Darraj Abu al-Samh from Abu al-Haytham (Sulayman bin 'Amr al-'Utwari).
وأخرجه البيهقي في "البعث والنشور" (464) عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi recorded it in "al-Ba'th wa al-Nushur" (464) from Abu Abdullah al-Hakim, with this chain.
وقد سلف مرفوعًا برقم (3915).
Reference / Source: It has already passed as marfu' at number (3915).
