Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Note / Clarification: It is like this in the printed edition, and it can be read this way, "yuqimuhu", in manuscripts (Z) and (B). In (S) and ('A) there is a blank space in its place, and in al-Bayhaqi's "Shu'ab al-Iman" (2282), where he narrated it from the author (al-Hakim), it reads: "thumma dhakara ma ba'dahu" (then he mentioned what follows it).
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Our strong impression is that the correct reading there is "thumma dhakara baqiyahu" (then he mentioned the rest of it), and an old corruption occurred in it, because the hadith has a remaining part which Ahmad and others who recorded the hadith mentioned, and it is what the author recorded later at number (7719).
Grading: Its chain has some weakness (lin). 'Isa bin Hilal al-Sadafi is alone in narrating it, and no declaration of his reliability is reported from anyone other than Ibn Hibban and Ya'qub al-Fasawi, and there is some reservation in the heart about his hadiths.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (11/6575), Abu Dawud (1399) and al-Nasa'i (7973, 10484) recorded it via Abdullah bin Yazid al-Muqri', with this chain. Ahmad added at its end what will come at number (7719).
Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (773) recorded it via Abdullah bin 'Ayyash bin 'Abbas and Sa'id bin Abi Hilal, from 'Ayyash bin 'Abbas, with the same chain. He added at its end another addition: "Tell me the deeds that are required of me; I will do them as far as I am able." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The five prayers, the fasting of Ramadan, Hajj to the House; pay the zakah of your wealth, and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong."
