Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 3923

حدَّثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدَّثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبار، حدَّثنا أبو معاوية، حدَّثنا عبد الملك بن أَبجَرَ، عن ثُوَير بن أبي فاختة، عن ابن عمر قال: قال رسول الله ﷺ: "إنَّ أدنى أهل الجنة منزلةً، لَرجلٌ يَنظُر في مُلكِ الفَي سنةٍ، يَرى أقصاه كما يَرى أدناه، يَنظُر في أزواجِه وخَدَمِهِ وسُرُرِه، وإِنَّ أفضل أهل الجنة منزلةً، لمَن يَنظُر في وجه الله تعالى كلَّ يومٍ مرَّتين" (2). تابعه إسرائيلُ بن يونس عن ثُوَير:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The lowest in rank among the people of Paradise will be a man who will gaze over his kingdom to the extent of a journey of two thousand years; he will see its farthest end just as he sees its nearest part; he will be looking at his wives, his servants and his thrones. And the most excellent in rank among the people of Paradise will be the one who will behold the Face of Allah Almighty twice every day."

(2) إسناده ضعيف لضعف ثوير بن أبي فاختة، ووهاه الذهبي في "تلخيصه".
Grading: Its chain is "da'if" because of the weakness of Thuwayr bin Abi Fakhitah, and al-Dhahabi declared it very weak in "al-Talkhis".
وأخرجه أحمد 8/ (4623) عن أبي معاوية محمد بن خازم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ahmad (8/4623) narrated it from Abu Mu'awiyah Muhammad bin Khazim with this same chain.
وأخرجه الترمذي (2553 م) من طريق سفيان الثوري، عن ثوير، عن مجاهدٍ، عن ابن عمر موقوفًا. وانظر ما بعده.
Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi (2553 m) narrated it by way of Sufyan al-Thawri, from Thuwayr, from Mujahid, from Ibn 'Umar as "mawquf". See the (narration) after it.
