أخبرنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب الحافظ، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الوهاب، أخبرنا يَعلى بن عُبيد، حدثنا الأعمش، عن أبي ظَبْيان، عن أبي موسى في قوله ﷿: ﴿فَرَّتْ مِنْ قَسْوَرَةٍ (51)﴾ [المدثر: 51]، قال: القَسْورةُ: الرُّماة رجالُ القَنْص (2).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning the saying of Allah Almighty: "Fleeing from a qaswarah" [Al-Muddaththir: 51], that he said: By "qaswarah" is meant the archers who go hunting.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) إسناده صحيح. أبو ظبيان: هو حُصين بن جندب الكوفي.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih". Abu Zabyan is "Husayn bin Jundub al-Kufi".
وأخرجه الطبري 29/ 168 من طريق سفيان الثوري، عن الأعمش، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Tabari (29/168) narrated it by way of Sufyan al-Thawri, from al-A'mash, with this same chain.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih". Abu Zabyan is "Husayn bin Jundub al-Kufi".
