Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 3904

It is narrated from Jubayr bin Nufayr (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: I performed Hajj and went to visit Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her), and I asked her about the night prayer (qiyam al-layl, tahajjud) of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). She said: Do you not recite "O you who are wrapped in garments" [Al-Muzzammil: 1]? I said: Of course. She said: That was his (peace and blessings be upon him) night prayer.
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
