Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 383

It is narrated from Amr bin Maymun: Every Thursday evening I would come to Ibn Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him), and I never heard him say, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said," until one evening he said: "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said." I looked at him, and (from the intensity of emotion) the buttons of his shirt had come undone, his veins had swollen and his eyes were filled with tears. Then he said: "Like this, or somewhat more than this, or close to this, or as the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said."
It has another supporting narration (shahid) on the condition of the two Shaykhs.
