أخبرنا أبو زكريا العَنبَري، حَدَّثَنَا محمد بن عبد السلام، حَدَّثَنَا إسحاق بن إبراهيم، أخبرنا معاذ بن هشام، حَدَّثَنَا أَبي، عن قَتَادة، عن عِكْرمة، عن ابن عبَّاس قال: أَتعجَبون أن تكون الخُلَّةُ لإبراهيم، والكلامُ لموسى، والرُّؤيةُ لمحمدٍ؛ صلوات الله عليهم أجمعين (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط البخاري، ولم يُخرجاه.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "Do you wonder that the honour of close friendship (with Allah) was given to Ibrahim (peace be upon him), the honour of being spoken to (by Allah) was given to Musa (peace be upon him), and the honour of seeing (the Lord) was given to Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him)? May the blessings of Allah Almighty be upon them all."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Bukhari, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.
