It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever invites his Muslim brother to something, or if any man calls another man, he will be made to stand with him on the Day of Resurrection and will be brought along with him." Then the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." [Surah al-Saffat: 24]
Imam al-Hakim said: Through the narration of the imam of his time, Abu Ya'qub al-Hanzali, it has become clear that this hadith has a basis with some chain or other.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This chain is "da'if" (weak) because of the weakness of "Layth bin Abi Sulaym" and the unknown status (jahalah) of his shaykh "Bishr". Ishaq bin Ibrahim is Ibn Rahawayh. Reference / Source: It was recorded by al-Tirmidhi (3228) via Ahmad bin Abdah al-Dabbi, from Mu'tamir bin Sulayman, with this chain. Grading: al-Tirmidhi said: This hadith is "gharib". Reference / Source: It was recorded by Ibn Majah (208) (without mention of the verse) via Abu Mu'awiyah al-Darir, from Layth, from Bashir bin Nahik, from Abu Hurayrah, marfu'. Technical note / Defect ('illah): Layth made it "Bashir bin Nahik from Abu Hurayrah"; this is due to his "poor memory" and "inconsistency" (idtirab).
