It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever invites someone to something will be made to stand with him on the Day of Resurrection and will be brought along with him." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) recited this verse: "And stop them; indeed, they are to be questioned." [Surah al-Saffat: 24] Al-Hasan bin Ahmad al-Tustari narrated it in this way. If it were permissible for us to accept it from him, we would have declared it sahih on the condition of the two Shaykhs; but we say that its correct text is that of the following hadith.
