حدثنا الشيخ أبو بكر بن إسحاق الفقيه، أخبرنا أحمد (2) بن علي الأبّار، حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الرحمن بن بكَّار الدمشقي، حدثنا الوليد بن مسلم، حدثني أبو رافع، عن سعيد المَقبُري، عن أبي مسعود الأنصاري، عن النبي ﷺ قال: "أكثروا الصلاةَ عليَّ في يوم الجُمُعة، فإنه ليس يُصلِّي عليَّ أحدٌ يومَ الجُمعة إلَّا عُرِضَت عليَّ صلاتُه" (3).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، فإنَّ أبا رافع هذا هو إسماعيل بن رافع، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Mas'ud al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Send blessings upon me abundantly on the day of Friday, for whoever sends blessings upon me on the day of Friday, his blessing is presented to me."
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain of narration (since Abu Rafi' here refers to Isma'il bin Rafi'), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(2) تحرَّف في (ز) و (ص) و (ع) إلى: محمد. والمثبت من (ب) و"إتحاف المهرة" (13936)، وهو الصواب. وانظر ترجمته في "سير النبلاء" 13/ 443.
Note / Clarification: In manuscripts (Z), (S) and ('A) this is corrupted into "Muhammad". What is adopted from (B) and "Ithaf al-Maharah" (13936) is correct. See his biography in "Siyar al-Nubala'" (13/ 443).
(3) إسناده ضعيف بمرَّة من أجل أبي رافع إسماعيل بن رافع، فإنَّ الجمهور على تضعيفه، وبه أعلَّه الذهبي في "تلخيصه".
Grading: This chain is entirely da'if because of "Abu Rafi' Isma'il bin Rafi'", for the majority consider him weak, and al-Dhahabi pointed to him as the defect in "al-Talkhis".
وأخرجه البيهقي في "شعب الإيمان" (2769)، وفي "حياة الأنبياء في قبورهم" له (11) عن أبي عبد الله الحاكم، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi recorded it in "Shu'ab al-Iman" (2769) and in his "Hayat al-Anbiya' fi Quburihim" (11) from Abu Abd Allah al-Hakim, with this same chain.
ويغني عن حديث أبي مسعود هذا حديثُ أوس بن أوس عند أحمد (26/ 16162) وأبي داود (1047) وابن ماجه (1085) وغيرهم، وفيه: " … فأكثروا عليَّ من الصلاة فيه، فإنَّ صلاتكم معروضة عليَّ … "، وإسناده صحيح إن شاء الله.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: This hadith of Abu Mas'ud is made unnecessary by the hadith of Aws bin Aws in Ahmad (26/ 16162), Abu Dawud (1047), Ibn Majah (1085) and others, which contains: "So send abundant blessings upon me on that day, for your blessings are presented to me", and its chain is sahih, Allah willing.
