It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this verse: "And you will see the people as if intoxicated, while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah is severe" [Surah al-Hajj: 2].
The chain of narration of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.
