حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الجبّار، حدثنا أبو معاوية. وحدثنا أبو عبد الله محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الوهاب، حدثنا يَعلَى بن عُبيد؛ قالا: حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق القُرشي، عن النُّعمان بن سعد، عن عليٍّ في هذه الآية: ﴿يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ وَفْدًا﴾ [مريم: 85]، قال علي: أمَا واللهِ ما يُحشَرُ الوفدُ على أرجلهم، ولا يُساقُون سَوقًا، ولكنهم يُؤتَونَ بنُوقٍ (1) لم تَرَ الخلائقُ مثلَها، عليها رَحْلُ الذهب، وأزِمَّتُها الزَّبَرجَد، فيركبون عليها حتى يَضرِبوا أبوابَ الجنة (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning this saying of Allah Almighty: "On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation" [Surah Maryam: 85]; he said: "By Allah, this delegation will not be gathered walking on their feet, nor will they be driven (like animals); rather, they will be brought on she-camels the like of which creation has never seen, upon which will be saddles of gold and whose reins will be of zabarjad (a precious stone). They will ride on them until they knock at the gates of Paradise."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف لضعف عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق، وليس هو بالقرشي كما توهَّمه بعض رواة الإسناد، بل هو أبو شيبة الواسطي، وهو ابن أخت النُّعمان بن سعد وقد تفرَّد بالرواية عنه، وبه أعلَّه الذهبي في "تلخيصه".
Grading: (1) Its chain is "da'if" because of the weakness of 'Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): He is not the (thiqah) "al-Qurashi", as some imagined; rather he is Abu Shaybah al-Wasiti, the son of al-Nu'man bin Sa'd's sister, and he is alone in narrating from him. Al-Dhahabi pointed to this as its defect in "al-Talkhis".
