أخبرني أحمد بن محمد بن سَلَمة العَنَزي، حدثنا عثمان بن سعيد الدَّارِمي، حدثنا يزيد بن عبد ربِّه الجُرْجُسِي وسليمان بن عبد الرحمن الدمشقي قالا: حدثنا محمد بن حَرْب، عن الزُّبَيدي، عن الزُّهْري، عن عبد الرحمن بن عبد الله بن كَعْب بن مالك، عن كَعْب بن مالك، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "يُبعَثُ الناسُ يومَ القيامة، فأكونُ أنا وأُمَّتي على تَلٍّ، ويَكسُوني ربِّي حُلَّةً خضراءَ، ثم يُؤذَنُ لي فأقولُ ما شاءَ اللهُ أن أقول، فذلك المَقامُ المحمودُ" (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "On the Day of Resurrection the people will be raised, and I and my Ummah will be on a hill. My Lord will clothe me in a green garment, then I will be given permission (for intercession), and I will say what Allah wills that I should say. That is the Praised Station (al-Maqam al-Mahmud)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), and they did not record it.

وأخرجه ابن حبان (6479) من طريق كثير بن عبيد، عن محمد بن حرب، به.
Reference / Source: And Ibn Hibban narrated it at (6479) via Kathir bin 'Ubayd, from Muhammad bin Harb, with the same chain and text.
