حدثنا أبو العبَّاس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا أحمد بن عبد الحميد الحارِثي بالكوفة، حدثنا أبو أسامة، حدثنا عبد الحميد بن جعفر الأنصاري، عن العلاء بن عبد الرحمن بن يعقوب مولى الحُرَقَة، عن أبيه، عن أبي هريرة، عن أُبيِّ بن كَعْب، عن رسول الله ﷺ قال: "السَّبْعُ المَثَاني فاتحةُ الكِتاب" (1)
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه، وقد أَمليتُ طرقَ هذا الحديث في كتاب فضائل القرآن.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "'Al-Sab' al-Mathani' (the seven oft-repeated) means Surah al-Fatihah."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Muslim, and the two Shaykhs did not record it; and I have dictated the routes of this hadith in the book "Fada'il al-Qur'an".

(1) إسناده صحيح. أبو أسامة: هو حماد بن أسامة. وقد سلف الحديث في فضائل القرآن من روايته بأطول ممَّا هنا برقم (2071).
