Grading: Its isnad is hasan because of Usamah bin Zayd - who is al-Laythi - and the original report is marfu', as will come. 2/ 372. Reference / Source: It is in "Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah" (2/ 372). Reference / Source: Al-Bayhaqi recorded it in "Dala'il al-Nubuwwah" (5/ 264) from Abu Abdullah al-Hakim, with this same isnad. Reference / Source: Al-Tabari (11/ 27) recorded it from Sufyan bin Waki', from his father Waki', with this isnad. Reference / Source: It was recorded as marfu', in wording similar to the next (hadith) with the author, by Ahmad (17/ 11187), Muslim (1398) and al-Tirmidhi (3099) by several routes from Abd al-Rahman bin Abi Sa'id, from his father. Likewise Ahmad (11046), al-Nasa'i (778 and 11164) and Ibn Hibban (606) recorded it by way of Imran bin Abi Anas, from Ibn Abi Sa'id al-Khudri, without naming him. In one narration in Ahmad (18/ 11846) Imran named him Sa'id bin Abi Sa'id, and in his narration in al-Tirmidhi (3099) he named him Abd al-Rahman. Reference / Source: It also preceded as marfu' with the author at number (1811) by way of Unays bin Abi Yahya, from his father, from Abu Sa'id al-Khudri.
