It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You are hearing (knowledge from me), and (your students) will hear from you, and (knowledge) will be heard from those who hear from you."

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is "sahih". Technical note / Defect ('illah): The narrator "Abd Allah bin Abd Allah" in the chain refers to Abu Ja'far al-Razi (the judge of Rayy). Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it in (5/ 2945) and Ibn Hibban in (62) via two routes from al-A'mash with this same chain. Note / Clarification: See also the next narration. Important point: The words of the hadith "You hear, and it will be heard from you", although a statement in form, mean a command; that is: hear the hadith from me and convey it onward so that those after you hear it from you, and so on, so that this chain continues for fulfilling the trust and conveying the message.
