حدثنا أبو العبَّاس، حدثنا بَحْر بن نصر قال: قُرئَ على ابن وهب: أخبرك حُيَيُّ بن عبد الله المَعافِري قال: سمعت أبا عبد الرحمن الحُبُلي يحدِّث عن عبد الله بن عَمْرو: أنَّ آخر سورةٍ نزلت سورةُ المائدة (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the very last surah to be revealed was Surah al-Ma'idah.
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

(2) صحيح بما قبله، وهذا إسناد حسن في المتابعات والشواهد من أجل حيي بن عبد الله. أبو عبد الرحمن الحبلي: هو عبد الله بن يزيد المعافري.
Grading: It is sahih on account of the preceding hadith, and this chain is hasan in corroborating chains and supporting reports on account of Huyayy bin Abd Allah.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Abu Abd al-Rahman al-Hubuli is Abd Allah bin Yazid al-Ma'afiri.
وأخرجه الترمذي (3063) عن قتيبة بن سعيد، عن عبد الله بن وهب، بهذا الإسناد -وزاد فيه سورة الفتح. وقال: حديث حسن غريب.
Reference / Source: Al-Tirmidhi recorded it (3063) from Qutaybah bin Sa'id, from Abd Allah bin Wahb, with this chain - and he added Surat al-Fath to it. He said: This hadith is hasan gharib.
