حدثنا أبو بكر محمد بن أحمد بن بالَوَيهِ، حدثنا أحمد بن علي الخزَّاز، حدثنا سعيد بن سليمان، حدثنا المُعافَى بن عِمران، عن إسحاق بن عبد الله بن أبي فَرُوة، عن يحيى بن عُرْوة بن الزُّبير، عن عُروة، عن عائشة، عن النبي ﷺ: أنه كان يقرأ: (وما هو على الغَيبِ بظَنِينٍ) [التكوير: 24]، بالظاء (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to recite this verse with "bi-zanin" (with the letter za): "And he (the Prophet) is not suspected regarding (what he conveys of) the unseen." [Surah al-Takwir: 24]
This hadith has an authentic (sahih) chain of narration, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

(1) إسناده ضعيف جدًا من أجل إسحاق بن أبي فروة، فإنه متروك كما قال الذهبي في "تلخيصه".
Grading: Its chain is very weak because of Ishaq bin Abi Farwah, for he is a "matruk" narrator, as al-Dhahabi said in his "Talkhis".
وأخرجه أبو عمر الدُّوري في "قراءات النبي ﷺ " (122) عن عثامة بن أوس الأزدي، عن المعافى ابن عمران عن مروان - وهو ابن جناح - عن إسحاق بن أبي فروة، بهذا الإسناد. فزاد فيه مروان.
Reference / Source: Abu 'Umar al-Duri recorded it in "Qira'at al-Nabi (peace and blessings be upon him)" (122) from 'Aththamah bin Aws al-Azdi, from al-Mu'afa bin 'Imran, from Marwan (bin Janah), from Ishaq bin Abi Farwah, with this same chain; so he added Marwan (as a narrator) in it.
وأخرجه الدوري (123)، والخطيب البغدادي في "تاريخه" 11/ 107 من طريق إبراهيم بن أبي يحيى الأسلمي، عن إسحاق بن أبي فروة، به. وإبراهيم متروك أيضًا.
Reference / Source: Al-Duri (123) and al-Khatib al-Baghdadi in his "Tarikh" 11/ 107 recorded it by way of Ibrahim bin Abi Yahya al-Aslami, from Ishaq bin Abi Farwah; and (the narrator) Ibrahim is also matruk.
وأخرجه الخطيب 5/ 577 من طريق إبراهيم بن محمد المدني، عن عبد الله بن أبي بكر، عن يحيى بن عروة، به. وإبراهيم بن محمد هذا: هو ابن أبي يحيى الأسلمي نفسه. وقرأ (بظَنين) بالظاء ابنُ كثير وأبو عمرو والكسائي، وقرأ بقية السبعة بالضاد. انظر "السبعة" لابن مجاهد ص 673.
Reference / Source: Al-Khatib recorded it in 5/ 577 by way of Ibrahim bin Muhammad al-Madani, from Abd Allah bin Abi Bakr, from Yahya bin 'Urwah. This Ibrahim bin Muhammad is in fact the same Ibn Abi Yahya al-Aslami.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): The word (بظَنين) was read with "za'" by Ibn Kathir, Abu 'Amr and al-Kisa'i, and the rest of the Seven read it with "dad". (See Ibn Mujahid's "al-Sab'ah", p. 673.)
