Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 2977

أخبرنا أحمد عثمان بن بن يحيى المقرئ ببغداد، حدثنا سعيد بن عثمان الأهوازي، حدثنا رَوْح بن عبد المؤمن، حدثني عُبيد بن عَقِيل، حدثني حمّاد بن سَلَمة، عن ثابت، عن أنس: أنَّ النبي ﷺ قرأ: ﴿دَكًّا﴾ [الأعراف: 143]، منوَّنة، ولم يمدَّه (1).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) recited the word "dakkan" [Surah al-A'raf: 143] with tanwin and without madd (elongation).
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Grading of the chain: Its chain is "hasan".
وهذا الخبر قطعة من حديث سيأتي عند المصنف برقم (3288) و (4147 - 4149) من طرق عن حماد بن سلمة عن ثابت عن أنس، إلّا أنه ليس فيه الإشارة إلى القراءة.
Reference: This report is part of a hadith which will come with the author (al-Hakim) later at numbers (3288) and (4147-4149) via Hammad bin Salamah, from Thabit, from Anas, but it contains no reference to the reading.
وقرأ (دَكَّاءَ) ممدودة - غير منوَّنة حمزةُ والكسائي من السبعة، وقرأ الباقون (دَكًّا) مقصورة منوَّنة. انظر "السبعة" ص 293.
Readings: (دَكَّاءَ), with madd and without tanwin, was read by Hamzah and al-Kisa'i (of the seven readers). The rest read (دَكًّا), shortened and with tanwin. ("al-Sab'ah", p. 293.)
