It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) taught me to recite it this way: "wa li-yaqulu darasta" [Surah al-An'am: 105], that is, with a sukun on the "sin" and a fathah on the "ta'".
This hadith has a sahih (authentic) chain, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

Grading of the chain: This chain is "da'if" because of the weakness of Zam'ah bin Salih (the father of Wahb). However, he and the rest of the narrators of this chain are well known in recitation. Reference / Source: Ibn Marduyah narrated it in his Tafsir (as in "Tafsir Ibn Kathir" 3/ 307) via Abu Salamah, from Ahmad bin Abi Bazzah, with this same chain.
