فأخبرَناه أبو محمد بن زياد العَدْل، حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق، حدثنا بُندَارٌ، حدثنا عبد الوهاب؛ فذكره بإسناده موقوفًا عن أبي هريرة (4). وقد اتَّفق الشيخانِ على إخراج هذا الحديث بغير هذا اللفظ من حديث الأعمش، عن أبي صالح، عن أبي سعيد (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that he narrated this same hadith as mawquf.
The two Shaykhs (Imam Bukhari and Muslim) agreed on recording this hadith, in other words than these, through the narration of al-A'mash by way of Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him).

(4) إسناده حسن كسابقه. بندار: هو محمد بن بشار. ولم نقف على رواية عبد الوهاب هذه عند غير المصنف فيما بين أيدينا من المصادر
Grading: Like the previous one, its chain is hasan.
Identification of names: Bundar is Muhammad bin Bashshar.
Note / Clarification: We did not find this narration of Abd al-Wahhab with anyone other than the author (al-Hakim) in the sources available to us.
