It is narrated from Sulaym bin Amir that a man asked Sayyiduna Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him): "What is your wealth?" He said: "My wealth is my deeds." Then he narrated the long hadith.
The two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) recorded, through the narration of al-Zuhri, the hadith: "Whoever spends a pair from his wealth in the way of Allah," but its wording differs from the narration of Sa'sa'ah.
