فحدَّثَناه أبو زكريا العَنبَري وعلي بن عيسى بن إبراهيم قالا: حدثنا إبراهيم ابن أبي طالب، حدثنا محمد بن المثنَّى، حدثنا معاذ بن هشام، حدثني أبي، عن قَتَادة، عن أبي المليح، عن عوف بن مالك قال: كنَّا مع النبي ﷺ، فذكر الحديث بطوله (3). حديث قتادة
هذا حديث صحيح على شرطهما، ولم يُخرجاه. وقد روى هذا الحديث أبو قِلابة عبدُ الله بن زيد الجَرمي عن عوف بن مالك:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Awf bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). Then he mentioned the complete, lengthy hadith.
This hadith of Qatadah is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

وأخرجه ابن خزيمة في "التوحيد" 2/ 642 عن أبي موسى - وهو محمد بن المثنى - بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Khuzaymah narrated it in "al-Tawhid" (vol. 2, p. 642) by way of Abu Musa (Muhammad bin al-Muthanna) with this same chain.
