It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Let those of you who are intelligent and possessed of understanding stand close to me, then those who are next to them, then those who are next to them. And do not differ among yourselves, or your hearts will become divided. And beware of the clamour and tumult of the markets (and their vulgar talk)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but Imam Bukhari did not record it.
