It is narrated from Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite the last two verses of Surah al-Baqarah, for I was given them both from beneath the Throne."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: This hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi". Although Abu Hisham al-Rifa'i is da'if, there is corroboration for him, and the "'an'anah" of Muhammad bin Ishaq is also acceptable because of the corroboration. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it by way of Salamah bin al-Fadl from Muhammad bin Ishaq. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad also narrated it through the chain of Yahya bin Ishaq from Ibn Lahi'ah. Important point: Although Ibn Lahi'ah had a weak memory, the narrations that Qutaybah bin Sa'id transmitted from him through the books of Ibn Wahb are of hasan grade, because Ibn Wahb heard from him before his books were burned. (2091). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is supported by the hadith of Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him) (2091). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: The hadith of Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) is in Sahih Muslim (522); although its wording is not given there, Ibn Abi Shaybah and others have made it clear. Grading: The mawquf narration of Ibn Mas'ud is sahih, and since it cannot be said from opinion, it has the ruling of "marfu'".
