Allah is angry with whoever does not call upon Him
Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1832

حدَّثَناه أبو بكر بن إسحاق الفقيه، أخبرنا أبو المُثنّى، حدثنا مسدَّد، حدثنا بشر بن المفضَّل، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق، عن سعيدٍ المقبُريِّ، عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "ما اجتمع قومٌ، ثم تفرَّقوا لم يَذكُروا الله، إلّا كأنّما تفرَّقوا عن جِيفَةِ حمار" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Any people who gather and then disperse without remembering Allah, it is as though they have got up (and dispersed) from the carcass of a dead donkey."

(1) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل عبد الرحمن بن إسحاق - وهو المدني - وقد توبع. أبو المثنى: هو معاذ بن المثنى العنبري.
Grading: The hadith is sahih, and the chain is "hasan" because of Abd al-Rahman bin Ishaq (al-Madani), and he has been corroborated.
Technical note: Abu al-Muthanna is Mu'adh bin al-Muthanna al-Anbari.
وأخرجه النسائي (10163) عن إسماعيل بن مسعود، عن بشر بن المفضل، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (10163) narrated it from Isma'il bin Mas'ud, from Bishr bin al-Mufaddal, with this chain.
وأخرج أبو داود (4856) و (5059)، والنسائي (10164) و (10585) من طريق محمد بن عجلان، عن سعيد المقبري، عن أبي هريرة، عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال: "من قعد مقعدًا لم يذكر الله فيه كانت عليه من الله تِرَة، ومن اضطجع مضجعًا لا يذكر الله فيه إلّا كانت عليه من الله تِرَة". واللفظ لأبي داود.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (4856, 5059) and al-Nasa'i (10164, 10585) narrated by way of Muhammad bin Ajlan, from Sa'id al-Maqburi, from Abu Hurayrah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever sits in a place in which he does not remember Allah, it will be a 'tirah' (loss/regret) upon him from Allah; and whoever lies down in a place in which he does not remember Allah, it will be a tirah upon him from Allah." The wording is Abu Dawud's.
وسيأتي بنحو ذلك برقم (2040) من طريق سعيد المقبري عن أبي إسحاق مولى عبد الله بن الحارث عن أبي هريرة، ويأتي تخريجه والكلام عليه هناك إن شاء الله.
Repetition: A similar narration will come later under number (2040) by way of Sa'id al-Maqburi from Abu Ishaq, the freed slave of Abd Allah bin al-Harith, from Abu Hurayrah, and its sources and discussion will be given there, Allah willing.
