Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 183

أخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا سُريج بن النعمان، حدثنا فُليح بن سليمان، عن هلال بن علي، عن عطاء بن يسار، عن أبي هريرة، أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ قال: "كلُّ أُمتي يدخل الجنة إلا من أبى" قالوا: ومَن يأبى يا رسول الله؟ قال: "مَن عصاني فقد أبى" (2).
هذا حديث صحيح على شرط الشيخين ولم يُخرجاه! وله إسناد آخر عن أبي هريرة على شرطهما:

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "All of my Ummah will enter Paradise except the one who refuses." The Companions said: O Messenger of Allah, who would refuse? He ((peace and blessings be upon him)) said: "Whoever disobeys me has refused (to enter Paradise)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it! It has another chain from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah on their condition:

(2) صحيح لغيره، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل فُليح بن سليمان. وهو في "مسند أحمد" 14 / (8728)، وقرن فيه بسريج يونس بن محمد المؤدب.
Grading: On the basis of supporting reports this hadith is "sahih li-ghayrihi".
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Because of Fulayh bin Sulayman this chain is "hasan".
Reference / Source: It is found in "Musnad Ahmad" (14/8728), where Yunus bin Muhammad al-Mu'addib is also mentioned as a narrator alongside Surayj.
وأخرجه البخاري (7280) عن محمد بن سنان العَوَقي، عن فليح بهذا الإسناد. فاستدراكه ¤ ¤ ذهولٌ من الحاكم هنا، ثم عاد وتنبَّه إلى تخريج البخاري له فيما سيأتي بإثر حديث الأعرج عن أبي هريرة برقم (7818).
Reference / Source: Al-Bukhari narrated it (7280) through the chain of Muhammad bin Sinan al-Awaqi from Fulayh.
Technical note / Error (wahm): Al-Hakim's including it in al-Mustadrak is an oversight on his part, since it is already in al-Bukhari; however, later, at hadith number (7818), he himself drew attention to al-Bukhari's having recorded it.
وله شاهد من حديث أبي سعيد الخدري عند ابن حبان (17)، والطبراني في "الأوسط" (808)، وإسناده حسن.
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: One of its supporting reports is the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him), found in Ibn Hibban (17) and al-Tabarani (al-Awsat: 808), and its chain is hasan.
وآخر عن أبي أمامة، وهو الحديث الآتي عند المصنف برقم (185).
Corroborating chains and supporting reports: Another supporting report is the hadith of Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him), which will come later in the author's work at number (185).
