Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1824

(3) إسناده صحيح. يحيى بن يحيى: هو النيسابوري، وجرير: هو ابن عبد الحميد.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note: Yahya bin Yahya is al-Naysaburi, and Jarir is Ibn Abd al-Hamid.
وأخرجه ابن حبان (890) من طريق أبي خيثمة زهير بن حرب، عن جرير، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (890) narrated it by way of Abu Khaythamah Zuhayr bin Harb, from Jarir, with this chain.

(1) حديث حسن، وهذا الحديث له إسنادان، الأول رواه كامل بن العلاء عن حبيب بن أبي ثابت عن ابن عباس، والثاني رواه كامل بن العلاء عن أبي يحيى عن مجاهد عن ابن عباس، وكامل بن العلاء صدوق حسن الحديث، وباقي رجاله من جهة حبيب بن أبي ثابت ثقات، وحبيب وإن كان قد لقي ابن عباس إلّا أنه معروف بالتدليس وقد عنعن، أما من جهة أبي يحيى - وهو القتات الكوفي - فإنَّ يحيى هذا فيه ضعف، وباجتماع الطريقين فإنَّ الإسناد يرتقي إلى الحسن، والله أعلم. مجاهد: هو ابن جبر المكي.
Grading: This is a "hasan hadith". It has two chains: Kamil bin al-Ala' from Habib bin Abi Thabit from Ibn Abbas, and Kamil bin al-Ala' from Abu Yahya from Mujahid from Ibn Abbas. Kamil bin al-Ala' is saduq (truthful); although Habib bin Abi Thabit is a mudallis who narrated with 'an'anah, and Abu Yahya al-Qattat has some weakness, the two routes together raise the chain to the level of "hasan". Mujahid is Ibn Jabr al-Makki.
وهذا الحديث بهذا الإسناد لم نقع عليه عند غير المصنف.
