Mustadrak al-Hakim 1823 — The best worship is supplication
فحدَّثَناه أبو العباس محمد بن يعقوب، حدثنا هارون بن سليمان، حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن مَهْدي، حدثنا شعبة، عن منصور، عن ذرٍّ، نحوَه (2). وأما حديث جَرير:
The like of the previous narration is narrated from Sayyiduna Nu'man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him).

Grading: Its chain is sahih.
وأخرجه أحمد (18437)، وأبو داود (1479)، والنسائي (11400) من طرق عن شعبة بن الحجاج، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: It was narrated by Ahmad (18437), Abu Dawud (1479) and al-Nasa'i with the chain of Shu'bah bin al-Hajjaj.
