Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1751

It is narrated from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to her concerning her Umrah: "Indeed, you will have reward in proportion to your hardship and your spending."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it! And it has a sahih supporting narration (shahid) as well:

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Grading: Its chain is sahih.
Technical note: Sa'id bin Sulayman is al-Dabbi al-Wasiti, Ibn 'Awn is 'Abdullah bin 'Awn, and al-Qasim bin Muhammad is Ibn Abi Bakr al-Siddiq.
Details of the narration: This is a portion of the long hadith of 'A'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) about her menstruating during the Hajj and then performing 'Umrah from al-Tan'im.
Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad (40/24159), al-Bukhari (1787) and Muslim (1211) narrated it in the same abridged form through various routes from Ibn 'Awn with this same chain.
Technical note: Imam al-Hakim's "istidrak" of it (treating it as an addition meeting the conditions of the two Sahihs) is an oversight on his part, since it is already in the two Sahihs.
