حدثنا عبد الصَّمد بن علي البزَّاز ببغداد، حدثنا جعفر بن محمد بن شاكر، حدثنا الحسن بن موسى الأشْيَب، حدثنا ثابت بن يزيد، عن عبد الله بن عثمان بن خُثَيم، عن سعيد بن جُبَير، عن ابن عباس قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "إنَّ لهذا الحجر لسانًا وشَفَتَين، يشهَدُ لمن استَلَمَه يومَ القيامةِ بحقٍّ" (2). هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يخرجاه. وله شاهدٌ صحيح:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, this stone (the Black Stone) has a tongue and two lips, and on the Day of Resurrection it will testify truthfully in favour of the one who touched it (by kissing or wiping it)."
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim) did not record it. It also has an authentic supporting narration (shahid):

(2) إسناده قوي من أجل عبد الله بن عثمان بن خثيم. Grading: Its chain is strong (qawi) on account of Abd Allah bin 'Uthman bin Khuthaym. وأخرجه أحمد 4 / (2398)، وابن حبان (3711) من طريق الحسن بن موسى، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: Imam Ahmad narrated it at 4 / (2398) and Ibn Hibban at (3711) by way of al-Hasan bin Musa with this same chain. وأخرجه بنحوه أحمد 4 / (2215) و (2643) و 5 / (2796) و (2797) و (3511)، وابن ماجه (2944)، والترمذي (961)، وابن حبان (3712) من طرق عن عبد الله بن عثمان بن خثيم، به. قال الترمذي: حديث حسن. Reference / Source: Similarly, Ahmad narrated it at 4 / (2215, 2643) and 5 / (2796, 2797, 3511), Ibn Majah at (2944), al-Tirmidhi at (961) and Ibn Hibban at (3712) through various routes from Abd Allah bin 'Uthman bin Khuthaym. Grading: Imam al-Tirmidhi says that this hadith is "hasan".
