أخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي، حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا إسماعيل - وهو ابن عُلَيَّة - عن سعيد بن إياس الجُرَيْري، عن يزيد بن عبد الله بن الشِّخِّير، عن مُطَرِّف، عن عِمْران بن حُصَين قال: قيلَ لرسول الله ﷺ: إنَّ فلانًا لا يُفطِرُ نهارَ الدَّهر، قال: "لا صامَ ولا أفطَرَ" (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) that it was said to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): So-and-so fasts every day perpetually (never missing a day). He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He has neither fasted nor broken his fast."

(1) إسناده صحيح. وهو في "مسند أحمد" 33/ (19825) و (19873) و (19892).
Grading: Its chain is sahih. It is in the Musnad of Ahmad 33/ (19825), (19873) and (19892).
وأخرجه النسائي (2694) عن علي بن حجر، عن إسماعيل ابن علية، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Imam al-Nasa'i narrated it at (2694) through the chain of 'Ali bin Hujr from Isma'il Ibn 'Ulayyah, with this same chain.
وأخرجه ابن حبان (3582) من طريق خالد بن عبد الله الواسطي، عن سعيد بن إياس الجريري، به.
Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban narrated it at (3582) through the route of Khalid bin 'Abd Allah al-Wasiti from Sa'id bin Iyas al-Jurayri.
