حدثنا أبو النَّضْر الفقيه، حدثنا الحسن بن سفيان، حدثنا عبد الأعلى بن حمَّاد النَّرْسي، حدثنا حمّاد بن سَلَمة، عن محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سَلَمة، عن أبي هريرةَ قال: قال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "إذا سَمِع أحدُكم النِّداءَ والإناءُ على يَدِه، فلا يَضَعْه حتى يَقضِيَ حاجتَه منه" (2). هذا حديث صحيح على شرط مسلم، ولم يُخرجاه.
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When one of you hears the (Fajr) call and the vessel is in his hand, let him not put it down until he has fulfilled his need from it."
This hadith is sahih on the condition of Imam Muslim, but the two Shaykhs did not record it.

(2) حديث صحيح، وهذا إسناد حسن من أجل محمد بن عمرو - وهو ابن علقمة الليثي - وقد توبع فيما مضى برقم (740). أبو سلمة: هو ابن عبد الرحمن بن عوف. Grading: This hadith is sahih, and this chain is hasan on account of Muhammad bin 'Amr (Ibn 'Alqamah al-Laythi). Corroborating chains and supporting reports: His corroboration has already passed at the earlier hadith number (740). Criticism of a narrator: Abu Salamah refers to Ibn 'Abd al-Rahman bin 'Awf. وأخرجه أبو داود (2350) عن عبد الأعلى بن حماد، بهذا الإسناد. Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (2350) narrated it from 'Abd al-A'la bin Hammad, with this same chain.
