Mustadrak al-Hakim — Hadith 1421

حدثنا أبو بكر بن سَلْمان الفقيه، حدثنا أبو داود سليمان بن الأشعث، حدثنا أبو الوليد الطَّيالسي، حدثنا حماد بن سَلَمة، عن محمد بن عمرو، عن أبي سلمة، عن أبي هريرة، في قوله - جلَّ وعزَّ -: ﴿مَعِيشَةً ضَنْكًا﴾ [طه: 124] قال: عذابُ القبر (2).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) concerning this saying of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic: "a straitened life" [Surah Ta Ha: 124], that he said: It refers to the punishment of the grave.

(2) إسناده حسن من أجل محمد بن عمرو: وهو الليثي. أبو سلمة: هو ابن عبد الرحمن.
Grading: (2) The chain is hasan on account of Muhammad bin Amr bin Alqamah. Abu Salamah is Ibn Abd al-Rahman.
وأخرجه ابن حبان (3119) عن أبي خليفة الفضل بن الحباب، عن أبي الوليد الطيالسي، بهذا ¤ ¤ الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Hibban (3119) narrated it with the chain al-Fadl bin al-Hubab from Abu al-Walid al-Tayalisi.
