أخبرَناه بكر بن محمد بن حَمْدان الصَّيْرفي، حدثنا عبد الصمد بن الفَضْل البَلْخي، حدثنا عبد الله بن يزيد المُقرئ، حدثنا حَيْوَةُ، أخبرني رَبيعةُ بن سَيفٍ المَعافِري، عن أبي عبد الرحمن الحُبُليّ، عن عبد الله بن عمرو: أنَّ رسول الله ﷺ أبصَرَ امرأةً منصرِفةً من جنازةٍ، فسألها: "من أينَ جِئتِ؟ " فقالت: من تَعزيةِ أهل هذا الميِّت، فقال رسولُ الله ﷺ: "واللهِ لو بَلَغتِ معهم الكُدَى ما رأيتِ الجنةَ حتى يراها جَدُّ أبيكِ" (1).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a woman returning from a funeral. He (peace and blessings be upon him) asked her: "Where have you come from?" She said: I am coming from offering condolences to the family of this deceased. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "By Allah, if you had gone with them as far as the graveyard, you would not have seen Paradise until your father's grandfather sees it."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs (Bukhari and Muslim), but they did not record it.

وأخرجه النسائي (2019) من طريق عبيد الله بن فضالة، عن عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Al-Nasa'i (2019) narrated it via Abd Allah bin Yazid al-Muqri'.
وأخرجه أحمد 11/ (6574). وأخرجه النسائي (2019) عن محمد بن عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، كلاهما (أحمد ومحمد) عن عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ، عن سعيد بن أبي أيوب، عن ربيعة بن سيف، به.
