وحدثنا أبو بكر بن إسحاق الفقيه أخبرنا إسماعيل بن قُتَيبة، حدثنا يحيى بن يحيى، أخبرنا هُشَيم، أخبرنا عُيَينة بن عبد الرحمن، عن أبيه، عن أبي بَكْرة قال: لقد رأيتُنا مع رسول الله ﷺ وإنَّا لَنَكادُ أن نَرْمُلَ بالجِنازةِ رَمَلًا (1).
هذا حديث صحيح الإسناد، ولم يخرجاه. وشاهده بإسناد صحيح عن عبد الله بن جعفر الطيّار:

Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw us with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we would walk with the funeral bier (quickly) in a manner that was almost running.
The chain of this hadith is sahih (authentic), but the two Shaykhs did not record it, while a supporting narration (shahid) for it is reported with an authentic chain from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ja'far al-Tayyar (may Allah be pleased with him):

(1) إسناده صحيح. أبو بكر بن إسحاق، اسمه أحمد، ويحيى بن يحيى: هو النيسابوري.
Grading: (1) Its chain is sahih. Yahya bin Yahya al-Naysaburi is a trustworthy narrator in it.
وأخرجه أحمد 34/ (20388)، والنسائي (2051)، وابن حبان (3044) من طريق هشيم بن بشير بهذا الإسناد.

وأخرج أحمد (20400)، وأبو داود (3183)، والنسائي (2050)، وابن حبان (3043) من ¤ ¤ طرق عن عيينة عن أبيه قال: خرجت في جنازة عبد الرحمن بن سمرة، فجعل رجال من أهله يستقبلون الجنازة فيمشون على أعقابهم، ويقولون: رويدًا بارك الله فيكم، قال: فلحقنا أبو بكرة من طريق المربد، فلما رأى أولئك وما يصنعون حمل عليهم ببغلته وأهوى لهم بالسوط وقال: خلُّوا، فوالذي كرَّم وجه أبي القاسم ﷺ لقد رأيتُنا مع رسول الله ﷺ وإنا لنكاد نرمل بها.
Reference / Source: Abu Dawud (3183) and Ibn Hibban narrated that at the funeral of Abd al-Rahman bin Samurah some people were walking backwards, so Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) drove his mule at them and said: "Make way! I have seen us with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), and we would almost run (walk briskly) with the bier."
وسيأتي عند المصنف (5990) بهذه القصة من طريق عبد الله بن يزيد المقرئ عن عيينة وبرقم (5997) من طريق شعبة عن عيينة، لكن في رواية شعبة ذكر أنها جنازة عثمان بن أبي العاص، وهو وهم سنبينه في موضعه إن شاء الله تعالى.
Repetition: This story will come later at numbers (5990) and (5997). In the narration of Shu'bah, the name "Uthman bin Abi al-'As" is an error, which will be explained there.
ويشهد له حديث عبد الله بن جعفر الآتي بعده.
