It is narrated from Sayyiduna Buraydah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: When the people began to wash the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), suddenly a caller called out from inside the house: "Do not remove the blessed shirt of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)."
This hadith is sahih (authentic) on the condition of the two Shaykhs, but they did not record it.

Explanation & Benefits
Shaykh Adil Murshid et al.
Technical note: (1) In manuscripts (S), (B) and ('A) it was distorted into: Salim.
Technical note: (2) This is how the author named him here: Burayd bin 'Abd Allah, and he named him the same way at number (1354) later; al-Bayhaqi narrated it from him in "al-Sunan" (3/387) and in "al-Dala'il" (7/242-243) and remained silent on it. But al-Hakim himself contradicted this, as in "Su'alat al-Sijzi" (152), where al-Sijzi said: I asked him about Abu Burdah al-Hanafi, who narrates from 'Alqamah bin Marthad, and he said: 'Amr bin Yazid, a shaykh from the people of Kufah. 2/ 617. Technical note: Al-Mizzi held in "Tuhfat al-Ashraf" (2/76) that this Abu Burdah, who narrates from 'Alqamah bin Marthad and from whom Abu Mu'awiyah al-Darir narrates, is 'Amr bin Yazid al-Tamimi, and he reported that in "Tahdhib al-Kamal" (22/299) from Ibn Ma'in. Al-Daraqutni stated it decisively, as Ibn al-Mulaqqin reported from him in "al-Badr al-Munir" (5/202). Al-Busiri also held this in "Misbah al-Zujajah" (2/26), saying that al-Hakim's authenticating it and naming him Burayd bin 'Abd Allah is questionable and that his name is 'Amr bin Yazid. Ibn 'Abd al-Hadi also held al-Hakim to have erred in his "Mustadrak", in "al-Tanqih" (2/617).
Technical note: (3) In al-Dhahabi's "Talkhis al-Mustadrak": "la tanzi'u" (do not remove).
Grading: (4) It is "hasan li-ghayrihi", and this chain is weak. The correct view about Abu Burdah is that he is 'Amr bin Yazid, as we explained above, and he is weak: Ibn Ma'in, Abu Hatim, Abu Dawud and others declared him weak. Abu Mu'awiyah refers to Muhammad bin Khazim al-Darir, and its Companion is Buraydah bin al-Husayb. Reference / Source: Ibn Majah (1466) narrated it from Sa'id bin Yahya bin al-Azhar from Abu Mu'awiyah from Abu Burdah (without naming him) with this same chain. Corroborating chains and supporting reports: It is supported by the hadith of 'A'ishah coming at number (4446), whose chain is hasan.
