حدَّثنا بصحَّة ما ذكرتُه جعفرُ بن محمد بن نُصَير (2) الخُلْدي إملاءً ببغداد، حدثنا علي بن عبد العزيز، حدثنا إبراهيم بن زياد سَبَلانُ، حدثنا عبَّاد بن عبَّاد قال: أتيتُ يونسَ بن خبَّاب بمنًى عند المنارة وهو يقصُّ، فسألته عن حديث عذاب القبر، فحدَّثني به.
(Imam al-Hakim says:) The proof of the correctness of what I have mentioned is that Abbad bin Abbad said: I came to Yunus bin Khabbab at Mina near the minaret while he was preaching, and I asked him about the hadith of the punishment of the grave, so he narrated it to me.
