وأخبرني أبو عمرو إسماعيل بن نُجَيد بن أحمد بن يوسف السُّلَمي، أخبرنا أبومسلم إبراهيم بن عبد الله، حدثنا أبو عمر (3) الضرير، حدثنا مَهْدي بن ميمون، عن يونس بن خبَّاب. وأخبرنا أحمد بن جعفر القَطِيعي - واللفظ له - حدثنا عبد الله بن أحمد بن حنبل، حدثني أبي، حدثنا عبد الرزاق، أخبرنا مَعمَر، عن يونس بن خبّاب، عن المِنهال بن عمرو، عن زاذانَ، عن البراء بن عازب - وفي حديث عبّاد بن عبّاد: أنه سمع البراءَ بن عازب - قال: خرجنا مع رسول الله ﷺ في جنازةٍ، فجلس رسولُ الله ﷺ على القبر وجلسنا حولَه … وذكر الحديث بطوله (4). هذا هو الصحيح المحفوظ من حديث يونس بن خبّاب، وهكذا رواه أبو خالد الدَّالانيُّ، وعمرو بن قيس المُلَائي، والحسن بن عُبيد الله النَّخَعي، عن المنهال بن عمرو. أما حديث أبي خالد الدَّالاني:
It is narrated from Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) that we went out with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) for a funeral; the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sat at the grave and we sat around him (peace and blessings be upon him), then the narrator narrated the full long hadith.
This is what is correct and well-preserved (mahfuz) in the narration of Yunus bin Khabbab, and it was likewise narrated from al-Minhal bin Amr by Abu Khalid al-Dalani, Amr bin Qays al-Mula'i and al-Hasan bin Ubaydullah al-Nakha'i.

(3) في (ص) والمطبوع: أبو عَمرو، وهو خطأ. وأبو عُمر هذا: هو حفص بن عمر البصري.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): Manuscript (S) and the printed edition have "Abu Amr", which is wrong; the correct name is "Abu Umar", who is Hafs bin Umar al-Basri.
(4) إسناده ضعيف من أجل يونس بن خبّاب، وفي سياق حديثه بعض حروفٍ تفرَّد بها ليست في روايات الثقات لهذا الحديث.
Grading: This chain is weak because of Yunus bin Khabbab.
Technical note / Defect ('illah): In the wording of this hadith Yunus reported some expressions in which he is alone, and those expressions are not found in the narrations of the thiqah narrators.
وأخرجه أحمد بطوله 30/ (18614) عن عبد الرزاق، بهذا الإسناد.
