أخبرَناه عبد الله بن محمد الصَّيدَلاني، حدثنا إسماعيل بن قُتيبة السُّلَمي، حدثنا أبو بكر بن أبي شَيْبة، حدثنا عبد الله بن نُمَير، حدثنا سعد بن سعيد، حدثني محمد بن إبراهيم التَّيْمي، عن قيس بن قَهْد قال: رأَى رسول الله ﷺ رجلًا يصلِّي بعد صلاة الصبح ركعتين، فقال رسول الله ﷺ: "أصلاةَ الصُّبحِ مرَّتين؟ " فقال الرجل: لم أكن صلَّيتُ الركعتين اللتين قبلَها فصليتُهما الآن، قال: فسَكَتَ عنه رسول الله ﷺ (1).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Qays bin Qahd (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man praying two rak'ahs after the Fajr prayer. The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Are you praying the Fajr prayer twice?" The man replied: I had not prayed the two rak'ahs that come before it, so I have prayed them now. The narrator said: So the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent about him.

(1) إسناده حسن لوما أعلَّه الترمذي والطحاوي في "مشكل الآثار" بإثر (4140) بالانقطاع بين محمد بن إبراهيم التيمي وقيسٍ، لكن روي هذا الحديث من أوجه باجتماعها لا ينزل عن رتبة الحسن، وانظر ما قبله.
Grading: (1) Had al-Tirmidhi and al-Tahawi not declared it munqati' (disconnected), this chain would be hasan; but taken together with all its routes, this narration does not fall below the level of "hasan".
وأخرجه ابن ماجه (1154) عن أبي بكر بن أبي شيبة، وأبو داود (1267) عن عثمان بن أبي شيبة، كلاهما عن عبد الله بن نمير، بهذا الإسناد.
Reference / Source: Ibn Majah (1154) and Abu Dawud (1267) narrated it through the chain of Ibn Numayr with this same chain.
وأخرجه أحمد 39/ (23760) عن عبد الله بن نمير، به. وانظر تمام تخريجه فيه.

وأخرجه بنحوه الترمذي (422) من طريق عبد العزيز الدراوردي، عن سعد بن سعيد، به.
