Hadith 6002
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us: Near the Day of Judgment, a fire will emerge from the sea of Hadramaut, "which is a region of Syria," and it will drive the people forward. We asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What do you command us to do at that time?" He said: Make the land of Syria obligatory upon yourselves (go there).

If I ask you something, will you answer me?" He replied, "Yes!" He asked various questions regarding Sayyiduna Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said, "Now come, I will inform you of the reality of all those things about which you have asked me. As for fleeing on the day of the Battle of Uhud, I testify that Allah has pardoned them and forgiven them. As for not participating in the Battle of Badr, it was because the daughter of the Prophet (Sayyiduna Ruqayyah, may Allah be pleased with her, who was married to Sayyiduna Uthman, may Allah be pleased with him) was ill at that time. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said to him, 'Stay here and tend to her.' 'You will have the reward equal to the participants of Badr and a share of the spoils of war.' As for his absence from the pledge of Ridwan, if there had been anyone more honorable than Uthman in the valley of Makkah, the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, would have sent him. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, himself sent Sayyiduna Uthman to Makkah, and the pledge of Ridwan took place after he had gone. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, struck one hand upon the other and said, 'This is the hand of Uthman.' After this, Sayyiduna Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, said, 'Take these things with you and go.'"

Thus, the ruler is responsible for his subjects, and he will be questioned about them. A man is responsible for his household, and he will be questioned about them. A woman is responsible for her husband’s house, and she will be questioned about it. A servant is responsible for his master’s wealth, and he will be questioned about it. I heard these things from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and I think the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also said: A man is responsible for his father’s wealth, and he will be questioned about his responsibility regarding it. In short, each of you is a shepherd, and each of you will be questioned about his flock.
Hadith 6027
Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that I heard Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) saying: Whoever has sheep should shave his head to exit the state of Ihram for Hajj, and do not imitate fixing the hair with anything. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) with his hair fixed.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the ‘Isha prayer during the last days of his life. When he had finished the prayer with salam, he stood up and said: Remember this night, for after a full hundred years from tonight, none of those who are present on the face of the earth today will remain. Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that many people became confused by the statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and began to say different things regarding the "hundred years." In reality, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said that those who are present on the face of the earth today—and the meaning was that this generation would come to an end (it did not mean that the Day of Judgment would occur a hundred years from today).

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying on the pulpit: The duration of your survival compared to the previous people is like the time between Asr and Maghrib. The people of the Torah were given the Torah, so they acted upon it, but at midday they became unable to continue, so each of them was given one qirat. Then the people of the Gospel were given the Gospel, and they acted upon it until Asr, but then they too became unable to continue, so each of them was given one qirat. Then you were given the Qur’an, and you acted upon it until Maghrib, so you were given two qirats each. Upon this, the people of the Torah and the Gospel said: O Lord! These people did less work but received more reward. Allah said: Did I wrong you in your wages in any way? They said: No. Allah said: Then I bestow My bounty upon whom I will.

Drops of water were falling from his head. I asked, "Who is this?" It was made known to me that he is Sayyiduna Isa (peace be upon him). Then behind him, I saw a man with curly hair, reddish complexion, blind in the right eye, and, according to my sight, extremely similar to Ibn Qatan. I asked, "Who is this?"
