Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah

Hasan narrates that the people of Paradise will enter Paradise in the form of Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), with a height of sixty cubits, their bodies will be hairless, and they will have kohl in their eyes. Their ages will be thirty-three years, their wives will be virgins, and the bodies of their husbands will be hairless.

It is narrated from Hasan that the trunks of the date trees in Paradise will be of gold, their roots of emerald and ruby, and their leaves will be of ornaments. The dates from these trees will be as large as domes, sweeter than honey and whiter than milk.

It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Allah Almighty will be amazed at those people who will be brought in chains until they are admitted into Paradise.

It is narrated from Hazrat Humaid bin Hilal that when a person destined for Paradise enters Paradise, he will be given the appearance of the people of Paradise, and he will be dressed in their clothing, and adorned with the jewelry of the people of Paradise. He will see his wives, servants, and residence in Paradise. He will be overcome with such ecstasy of happiness that if it were possible for him to die, he would die from that joy. It will be said to him, "Have you seen the utmost limit of your happiness? This happiness will remain with you forever."

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: In Paradise, there will be a market for the people of Paradise. They will come there on Fridays, and there will be mounds of musk. When they approach them, a wind will blow—Hazrat Hammad says, I think it will be from the north—their faces, their clothes, and their homes will be filled with musk, and their beauty and elegance will increase. Then they will return to their families, and their families will say to them, "Your beauty and elegance have increased after you left us," and they will reply, "Your beauty and elegance have also increased after us."

Hazrat Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that I asked Hazrat Ka'b, "What is Sidrat al-Muntaha?" Hazrat Ka'b replied: "It is a tree where the knowledge of the angels ends; there they receive Allah's command, and their knowledge does not go beyond that point." I asked him about Jannat al-Ma'wa. Hazrat Ka'b replied: "It is a paradise in which there are green birds, and the souls of the martyrs go there."
